 EPCH, in association with PRAYAS (an NGO working with artisans of Himachal Pradesh) organised an orientation program at Sujanpur (Hamirpur District), Himachal Pradesh, on 4th November 2019. The occasion was graced by Mr. Arun Chandan, Regional Director, National Medical Plant Board; Mr. O P Malhotra, Shilp Guru; Mr. Kirti Chandel, Block Development Officer, Sujanpur; Ms. Shilpi Baekta, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sujanpur; Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Director General, EPCH; and Mr. Avnish Parmar, Treasurer, Prayas, Himachal Pradesh; and Mr. Sandeep Sachan, Associate Professor, NIFT. A power point presentation was made by Mr. Rajesh Rawat, Joint Director, EPCH and EPCH design team, educating the gathering about the activities, initiatives and interventions required for growth, development and exports of handicrafts from the State of Himachal Pradesh.....more

 Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Director General, EPCH and Chairman India Exposition Mart Ltd. has been conferred Lifetime Achievement Award for his tremendous contribution to the handicrafts sector, by the Handicrafts Exporters Association(HEA), Agra, during a Handicraft Summit organised by them on 30th November 2019. The award was given away by Chief Guest, Shri Choudhary Uday Bhan Singh, Hon'ble Minister of State of MSME, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. COA members of EPCH and prominent members exporters from Agra and nearby areas were also present during the ceremony. .....more

 As part of the EPCH FASCO initiative of organising cricket matches in various craft clusters, the 1st T20 Challenge match was played between EPCH member exporters from Delhi and Firozabad. The match was conducted at CAS Cricket Club Ground, Firozabad. Mr. Abhishek Jain captained Team Firozabad, Mr. Prince Malik headed Team Delhi.
