EPCH's participation at the 2018 Heimtextil Germany was highlighted with an India Pavilion housing 14 member exporters in an area of 195 sq. mtrs. This was inaugurated by Hon'ble Minister of Textiles and I&B, Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, who also led a delegation of 5 members to Heimtextil, Germany. EPCH also set up a publicity booth to disseminate information about the upcoming IHGF Delhi Fair-Spring 2018 and Home Expo India 2018, through brochures, cotton bags, pens & pads. Many buyers have shown interest in visiting the shows. The lines on display at the India Pavilion generated encouraging footfall as well as response from the visiting business buyers, designers, architects and other trade visitors.....more

Gift Stores continue to lead distribution in 2018

Gift specialty stores top the list of distribution channels as per the Gifts and Decorative Accessories’ annual Trends and Forecasts Survey (USA). All gift vendors who responded to this year’s survey reported that they sell through gift stores and 65 percent identify the channel as the fastest-growing for 2018. Direct-to-consumer is predicted to be the fastest growing channel in 2018 by 62 percent of vendors, and 35 percent of vendors believe home accessories stores will also be among the fastest growing channels next year.......more
