Vision 2025-2035 - EPCH Strengthens Regional Leadership and Advocates Vision for the Handicrafts Sector

EPCH continues to push forward its mission of export growth and sectoral transformation through high-level engagements and strategic leadership appointments. In a major development, Mr. Avdesh Agarwal, COA Member, EPCH and Convenor - Central Region, has been nominated as the Chief Convenor of EPCH, India. In this new capacity, he will coordinate export promotion initiatives across all regions and spearhead Council's "Vision 2025-2035", a forward-looking strategic roadmap aimed at expanding the global presence and sustainability of the Indian handicrafts sector. Design & Technology Development on Kangra Painting Fusion with Wood Craft

The session brought together key stakeholders from the region's including Handicraft Exporter, young entrepreneurs and artisans, to bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary market demands, fostering sustainable development while preserving the rich artisanal heritage of Himachal Pradesh. On this occasion, the Design & Technology Development Workshop (DDW) on Kangra Painting Fusion with Wood Craft was also inaugurated. This initiative is a significant step towards promoting design innovation and enhancing artisan skills.
