EPCH participated in the three-day Giftex World 2014,
held at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan, from 09th to 11th June,
2014. A delegation of 22 member exporters was led by
Mr. Lekhraj Maheshwari, Chairman-EPCH. The exhibitors
represented handicraft manufacturing clusters from

When recession hit a few years ago and the
economy began to tank, Zak's Fine Furniture of Johnson
City, Tenn., did what was necessary to appeal to a
consumer suddenly short on disposable income. The
three-store retailer had always put an emphasis on
upper-middle to lower-high-end goods to differentiate
from the big boxes and chain stores fighting it out at
more promotional and middle prices, said owner Scott
Bowman. But when the economy soured it
supplemented that strategy with low-end goods to help
the business and consumers who were suffering.......
